This sacred growing space will begin its first year of growth\, sprouting this Spring\, and will serve as an education and engagement resource to provide a regenerative\, sustainable source for grave plantings. Please stop out and see what’s growing.\n\nVolunteer Opportunity: If you’re able\, stick around to help plant 780 native plants! (Bring gloves and water.) DESCRIPTION:Join NPS staff for a mock green burial\, including a shrouding demonstration.\n\nParticipants have the opportunity to learn what the green burial process entails by participating in a simulated version of it. This workshop includes Q&A with a Natural Path Sanctuary Cemeterian\, pallbearing and even lowering “dead” weight into a grave.\n\nThis event is free but please RSVP to npstours@farleycenter.org\nThis event will take place OUTDOORS and a good portion will take place walking in the Sanctuary. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle\, and dress appropriately for the weather.\n\nThis event will take place RAIN OR SHINE.Burials happen year around in snow\, rain or sun.

We recognize that death is not always easy to accept\, whether anticipated or unanticipated\, and all involved with the Natural Path Sanctuary believe that there is healing in the practice of a natural-life sustaining burial.\n\nNatural Path Sanctuary is committed to family and community friendly burials with as minimal of an impact on the environment as possible.
