DESCRIPTION:Farley Center Concert – Harmonious Wail \nCost: $25 PAY AT THE DOOR\nSUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSICIANS!\nAll proceeds will go to the musicians \nCome join us for an in-person concert with “Harmonious Wail” at the Farley Center under the Bur Oak Welcoming Area (BOWA ). \n“The members of Harmonious Wail are purveyors of Americana-infused Gypsy Jazz\, who continue to take their listeners on a ride via the music of the Hot Club sounds of Parisian cafes\, to the deepest blues of the Memphis Delta\, to the heartfelt folk scenes across every-town-America. This harmonious clique are sublime entertainers\, great educators\, and lifters of spirits.” \n“Harmonious Wail is a trio of multi-award winning musicians. Sims Delaney-Potthoff\, a mandolin virtuoso\, and vocalist\, Maggie Delaney-Potthoff\, vocalist extraordinaire\, whose percussive instrument of choice is a cardboard box (but who can also rock almost any household object)\, and Jeffo Weiss\, a master bassist who dazzles and mesmerizes on both upright and electric 5-string bass.” \nWe encourage attendees to come early or stay late and take a walk through the Natural Path Sanctuary and Farley Center farms. \nWe are offering an informational tour with Farley Center Board Vice Chair Jeanne Meier at noon – one hour before the concert. \nPlease bring your own blanket\, chair\, food and drinks to the concert.For any questions\, please contact us a 608-845-8724 or e-mail us at programs@farleycenter.org \nPlease social distance and wear masks. \n**Farley Center honey ($10) and organic vegetables will be available. DESCRIPTION:Come visit the food forests at the Farley Center with Farmer Ian Aley! \nThe food forest includes newly planted areas through the Wisconsin Food Forests initiative as well as more mature areas featuring a range of planting styles: guilds and contours and a mix of plants from the well known: apples\, pears\, and grapes\, to the lesser known: paw paw\, cornelian cherry\, honeyberry\, quince\, serviceberry\, currants\, and many more under and overstory plants. \nThe Farley Center is a certified organic farm where many growers rent land and share common resources like tractors\, irrigation lines\, and coolers.
