DESCRIPTION:August 6\, 2025 \nThe Farley Center is helping sponsor Physicians for Social Responsibility Wisconsin (PSR WI) for their annual Lanterns for Peace event\, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. \nThis family-friendly gathering invites our community to reflect\, create\, and commit to a future free from the threat of nuclear weapons.Together\, we honor the memory of lives lost and unite in our shared hope for a more peaceful\, just\, and nuclear-free world. \n6:30 PM – Gather at the Tenney Park\, John Wall Family Pavilion & begin  lantern-making. Everyone is welcome and we have all the supplies to make a lantern. \n7:30 PM – Commemorative program begins \n7:45–8:00 PM – Lanterns launched at dusk onto the Tenney Park Lagoon \nQuestions?
