DESCRIPTION:6/3/23 \nToo Sick Charlie at the Farley Center/SWWAP (Southwest Wisconsin Area Progressives) Outdoor concert series. \nhttps://toosickcharlie.com/ \nHosted by the Farley Center and the Southwest Wisconsin Area Progressives \nCost: $15 PAY AT THE DOOR\nSUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSICIANS!\nAll proceeds will go to the musicians \nCome join us for an in person concert with “Too Sick Charlie” at the Farley Center under the Bur Oak Welcoming Area (BOWA ). \nFOOD: Farley Center/Gani Moon Farmers Jen and Chandy Karnum will be selling pizza slices (1/6 of a 12 inch pizza) for $2 a slice or a full pizza (12 inch pizza) for $10. All homemade and herbs\, tomatoes for the sauce and vegetable toppings are grown at the Farley Center! \nWe are offering an informational tour with Farley Center Board Member Jeanne Meier at four- one hour before the concert. No charge for the tour \nWe are also offering a Food Forest Tour with Farley Center Staff Kalev Kristjuhan following the concert at 7:00-8:00. no charge for the tour. \nWe encourage attendees to come early or stay late and take a walk through the Natural Path Sanctuary and Farley Center farms. \nFarley Center honey ($10) and organic vegetables may be available. DESCRIPTION:6-3-23 \nCome tour the food forest at the Farley Center with Kalev Kristjuhan following the Too Sick CharlieConcert (5:00-7:00 p.m./$15). There is no cost for the tour.\nThe food forest includes newly planted areas through the Wisconsin Food Forests initiative (https://www.wisconsinfoodforests.com/) as well as more mature areas featuring a range of planting styles: guilds and contours and a mix of plants from the well known: apples\, pears\, and grapes\, to the lesser known: paw paw\, cornelian cherry\, honeyberry\, quince\, serviceberry\, currants\, and many more under and overstory plants. \nThe Farley Center is a certified organic farm where many growers rent land and share common resources like tractors\, irrigation lines\, and coolers.
