DESCRIPTION:5/15/22 \nMadison Japanese Taiko Drumming Group “BENI Daiko”\nHosted by the Farley Center\, Natural Path Sanctuary and BENI Daiko \nTICKET PRICE: FREE but donations are welcome! Beni Daiko would like more people to learn about taiko and enjoy the music and not worry about money! \nSUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSICIANS!\nAll proceeds will go to the musicians\nCome join us for an in person concert with the “Madison Japanese Taiko Drumming Group – “BENI DAIKO” at the Farley Center under the Bur Oak Welcoming Area (BOWA). \n“Beni” means “Deep color of Red” which represents Madison.\n“Taiko” means “drum” in Japanese. \nIn Japan. In Japanese\, taiko literally means “drum\,” though the term has also come to refer to the art of Japanese drumming\, also known as kumi-daiko. Taiko has been a part of the Japanese culture for centuries. \nWe encourage attendees to come early or stay late and take a walk through the Natural Path Sanctuary and Farley Center farms. \nWe are offering an INFORMATIONAL TOUR with Farley Center Board Member Jeanne Meier at noon – one hour before the concert. \nFOOD FOREST TOUR\, 2:30-3:30 following the concert with Farley Center Farmers Ian Aley and Natallia Biareishyk. (No cost for tour.) \nFarley Center honey ($10) will be available.
