Farley Center Fall Festival with Noah James Hittner

10-6-24

Come join us and listen to Noah James Hittner who will be playing at the Farley Center Center Fall Festival from 12:30-2:30!
https://www.facebook.com/events/250896704703530

Musician and author, Noah James Hittner, was born and raised in the beautiful driftless region of the rural Midwest, where his work has led him to appear on both radio and network television.

About Noah’s music…
Despite being raised the son of a local Country-Rock legend, Noah procrastinated for well over three decades before finally picking up the guitar to begin the new year in 2009. Influenced by everything from folk-rock to hip-hop, Noah has recorded and released several albums which blend the singer-songwriter, acoustic, rock, urban, and electronic styles into a singular Acoustic-Tronic genre. This collage of influences creates a sound that begs listeners to feel something. Currently based out of Madison, WI and regularly touring the Midwest, Noah performs with the use of a looper pedal and various effects, creating a wildly entertaining, full-band sound.
Noah James Hittner’s 3rd solo album, willing, was written, performed, recorded, mixed and produced entirely by Noah in his tiny basement home-studio on the blue-collar east-side of Madison, WI. Using Blues, Folk, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Electronica, this 12-song multi-genre journey touches on social issues, loss, consciousness, parenthood, and of course love, to successfully paint a sonic canvas which not only emotes—but grooves hard. willing is available now on all major streaming and download platforms.

About Noah’s books…
Warming the heart and inspiring the mind, Noah has written and published several books on the topic of human consciousness, spirituality, and personal freedom. Currently, he is working on his first novel, an epic journey tale of love and friendship.

About Noah’s former company…
Noah is also the former creator, owner and operator of, The Ark of Music LLC (TAOM LLC), which strives to enrich the music culture by connecting independent and small label musicians with the music-loving public. TAOM LLC now continues its mission under new ownership.

BIPOC BIRDING CLUB OF WISCONSIN
The BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin creates safe spaces for people of color in the outdoors through outdoor birding activities and outdoor experiences. Individuals and families of all ages and at any level of birding experience are invited and encouraged to join us.

About the Club: The BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin was established in 2021 as a community of people of color who love the outdoors and the birds and beauty of natural Wisconsin and wish to connect with others who share the same passion.

While the BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin seeks to promote outdoor birding activities and outdoor experiences for people of color, anyone who shares and supports our values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and access for all are welcome to join this group. We are family-friendly, and people of all ages are invited and encouraged to join us.

Experience and knowledge are not required. What is important is having a desire and willingness to see and learn about Wisconsin’s birds, animals, and plants and explore its beauty with others who share the same passion and curiosity in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.

Meet Jeff Galligan – BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin
Dr. Jeff Galligan is a co-founder of the BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin, is a member of the Badgerland Bird Alliance’s board of directors, and is the director of the TRIO Student Support Services and Men of Excellence programs at Madison College. He has been an avid birder for decades and believes there needs to be a birding community for people of color along with more inclusive representation of BIPOC in the conservation and stewardship conversation in Wisconsin. It is his dream to inspire young people of color to see themselves in STEM careers at an early age and hopes the BBC can be a catalyst in that endeavor here in the greater Madison area and across Wisconsin.
