Purchasing a Natural Burial Ground Right
We offer tours of the burial grounds and welcome conversation and inquiry about natural burials. Call to schedule an appointment (608) 845-8724 or e-mail nps@farleycenter.org. The Natural Path Sanctuary coordinator will be happy to sit down with you to discuss topics related to advance directives, pre-burial planning and important issues to consider around death.
If you need to make arrangements at the time of death of your family member, the Natural Path Sanctuary coordinator will be able to assist you in a timely fashion. Please call (608)-845-8724.
Alternatives to Cremation:
Natural burials are more eco-friendly and can allow for more meaningful family involvement than cremation.
Cost of Burial Right:
A burial right may only be purchased by Farley Center Legacy level donors. A Legacy donation is a donation of at least $3,000 to the Farley Center. Full body burial lots with grave opening and closing cost: $1,500. Cremains burial/scattering: $1,000. Please talk to our coordinator in the case of financial hardship.
Total cost for full body burial: $4,500 ($3,000 tax-deductible donation to the Farley Center + $1,500 burial lot payable to Natural Path Sanctuary).
Total cost for cremains burial: $4,000 ($3,000 tax-deductible donation to the Farley Center + $1,000 burial lot payable to Natural Path Sanctuary).
