Farley Center with Musician Julien Kozak at the Natural Path Sanctuary Death Education Market

6/21/25

Come join us for the Natural Path Sanctuary Death Education Market where we will feature music by Julien Kozak.

Julien Kozak
With a sweet, baritone voice reminiscent of a young James Taylor, soft-spoken singer-songwriter, Julien Kozak, has been walking the bridge between folk and pop. Hailing from Milwaukee, he takes influences from the likes of James Taylor, John Mayer, and Ed Sheeran. His soothing voice, intricate guitar melodies, and universally relatable lyrics seem to be catching everyone’s ear, including that of James Taylor himself. Julien has been featured on James’ instagram page, has opened for American Idol runner-up Clark Beckham, and completed a national tour of the US.

Peace Songs, Farley Center Land Art Installations

Aug 9-Oct 31, 2025

FARLEY CENTER LAND ART EXHIBIT OPENING WILL BE ON AUGUST 9th FOR SELF GUIDED TOURS THROUGH OCTOBER 31, 2025. MORE DETAILED INFORMATION WILL FOLLOW AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE DATE.

Come take a walk-about and see Farley Center Artist Installations in the Natural Path Sanctuary woods. We will have maps available for self guided tours. Visit the Farley Center anytime from sun-up to sun-down and take a walk through the woods.

This is the seventh year that area artists will create installations in the woods of the Natural Path Sanctuary on the Farley Center land. These artists are rising to the challenge of using only materials that can safely decompose back into the land.

Land art is also known as Earth art, and environmental art. It is created by artists who use the materials of the Earth including, for instance, the soil, rocks, branches, trees, vegetation, water and other natural, non-toxic materials. The Farley Center supports these types of installations on our land to highlight the beauty, value and necessity to think about how we view and use the land.

Our artists help raise the discussion of what is toxic and what do we mean by the word “decompose.” What has to change in the way we work in order to sustain the Earth and all of us that live on it in healthy ways

MORE INFO TO FOLLOW AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE EVENT DATE

Farley Center Taco Tuesday Night with “People With Strings”

August 5, 2025

Farley Center Taco Tuesday Night with music by People With Strings

People With Strings is a group of six (Mary Welch, Christie Kirchmiller, Cathy Chenoweth, Greg Lampe, Dusty Thompto, Robert Washburn) who met playing Ukulele and said “Let’s make a band!”

Though they all wanted dibs on the ukulele, they have added many instruments to their sound, including guitar, banjolele, keyboard, slide guitar, harmonica, cajon and even a frying pan. With four singers, sometimes together, sometimes solo, they cover an eclectic mix of songs. Leaning towards the Americana, Country, Bluegrass and Folk genres with some Classic Rock thrown in, you might hear a toe-tappin’ jug band tune or a country crooner ballad.
